Mechanical
The mechanical and build team is in charge of building the physical part of the robot. They work with tools to build the drivetrain, different subsystems, and put it all together. They work on the bot for the most amount of time during the build season.
Design
The Design team works on prototyping and coming up with a design at the beginning of the season. They fully design the bot in CAD(Computer-aid design) and make sure everything will work right before we build it. They give the CAD models to the mechanical team when they are finished to assist in building the bot.
Safety
The safety team helps keep the whole team safe. They make sure everyone knows how they can stay the most safe. The safety team makes sure all safety equipment is up to date and in good operating condition.
Electrical
The electrical team is in charge of putting all the wiring and motors in the bot. They work on adding all the motors and full electrical system into the bot. They get to add everything one mechanical is mostly finished with the robot.
Programming
The programming team works on programming the robot and it’s different subsystems. They work directly with both the electrical and mechanical teams to make sure the program works correctly. They are also part of our drive team who drives the completed bot at competitions.
Media
Our media team is in charge of running our social media, making merch, and doing outreach with the community. The media helps promote our team and help us look good at competition.
